I think it's the only book I've ever read where I completely don't know what to make of it. It's like the movie, but the movie is more like an interpretation of the book. It tells the story without delving as deeply into the philosophy in the book. Definitely a book that those who either have no interest in philosophy or no understanding of existentialism should avoid.<br/><br/>Ok, so I lied a bit about not knowing what to make of it. Instead I'll say it was a lot heavier a read than I thought I was getting into and thus didn't enjoy it to it's full capacity. Though I did enjoy it.
