I think some females actually prefer female friends who are what I hate about females and I think it all comes down to for-the-sake-of-having-friends. It takes awhile to find really good friends (female AND MALE) and to filter down to the ones that don't piss you off. I also disagree with this: "but it really doesn’t portray real relationships (sexual or otherwise) at all". You should have coffee with me some time and we'll talk. lol.
